I first experienced massage therapy 21 years ago. I was pregnant with my second child and my office staff bought me a gift certificate. It didn't take long for me to schedule (and keep) the appointment. My interest in massage therapy began when I got up off the table after that first session. I was hooked! Imagine feeling that good and helping others feel that way!
I spent almost 20 years in the healthcare finance field before leaving it to become a massage therapist. I graduated from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio in 2006. That same year I received my massage therapy license from the State Medical Board of Ohio. I am trained in Swedish, Neuromuscular Massage and Myofascial Release. Each client's condition dictates which technique or combination of techniques are used in each session. My goal for each client is to leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.
I am married and have two children. I enjoy running, yoga, and weight training. I receive regular massage therapy treatment (I have two therapists!!) and I truly believe it is crucial to my health and well-being.
